CANCELLATION POLICY
NONREFUNDABLE RETAINER FEE
Every session requires a nonrefundable retainer. This amount solidifies your session day and time-slot. In the case of stylized sessions, this amount also helps cover the cost of planning and some supplies that are purchased for the session.
SESSION CANCELLATION TWO OR MORE DAYS BEFORE SESSION
Sometimes life throws curve-balls and SLB understands that. While the retainer fee will not be refunded, SLB will do its best to reschedule your session for the near future. Sessions must be rescheduled before the end of the calendar year. Keep in mind, certain times of year, including fall and holiday season, have less wiggle-room for rescheduling as time-slots tend to book up rapidly. SLB will do its best to work with you. If any part of the retainer was used to purchase supplies that cannot be maintained for the rescheduled date, an additional fee will be required to replace those items.
SESSION CANCELLATION WITHIN 48 HOURS OF SESSION
SLB begins prepping for sessions days in advance. Within 48 hours of your session, SLB prepares any props, tests equipment, buys perishable items, etc. Certain items cannot be maintained for a rescheduled date. Balloons, helium, Hi-float, cakes, and foods are some of the items that cannot be saved and used at a rescheduled session. For this purpose, if you need to cancel your session within 48 hours of your time-slot, a fee will be required to reschedule. This fee will cover one-time use items that were prepped and unused for your original session day.
LATE ARRIVALS
It is important to arrive to your session on time. If you need time to prepare or get dressed before your session, please arrive a bit early. Any arrival past 15 minutes late will be deducted from your total session time. This could result in less setup variations and less final images.
